what do you think?
I don't know how many times I've written a freaking biography now... sometimes there is just too much bull shit surrounding our art itself. Personally I think the art should stand on its own. Who wants to read all the places I've had a show or went to school? Does it really matter? I think it matters more to look into the art. What is the message of the art? Is it good? Because lets face it... it doesn't matter how much school one has had or how many shows one has had... if the work sucks, it sucks.
I understand the point of it all. It is just such a tedious process. Anyway, thats all for Angel's gallery lesson 101.

back in highschool, when we had our art department finals, we had to present a biography and text about out works aside to our personal exhibitions. i couldn't deal with it and i had a talented-in-writing friend babble on 3 pages for me.
