I'm working on a piece right now of Margot and Richie from The Royal Tenenbaums. One of my favorite scenes in a movie ever is when Margot gets off the bus to meet Richie and she's walking in slow motion... then they lock eyes and hug. I love that scene. Thats what I'm drawing right now. Maybe I'll finish tonight.

Mother's Day is my favorite holiday. I always get treated like a princess around my house and I get lots of awesome presents!! Today I got a framed picture from my little boy that says "The important thing about my mama is that she loves me. It is true that you give me toys and ice cream. But the important thing about my mama is that she loves me." And it has little pictures drawn all around it. Its beautiful. If I knew how to post pics in my journal I would show you.

And I got a big book on Frida Kahlo and her art I've been looking at it all morning. And my husband writes me the most beautiful cards. I cry every time. I love my family.

So, I've officially started my own henna business called Henna Blooming. I've bought supplies, they are on their way, I've ordered business cards and I'm ready to go!!!

I am very excited because I love creating henna body art! Its a blast and its not bloody!!!! I'm so tired of dealing with perfect strangers blood all the time. Thats one definite downfall of tattooing. My friends' blood... not a big deal. Some pervy weirdo... yeah, a big deal and not so fun. So anyway, henna all the way for a while. Send me positivity and success!!!!
